Along with his long-term lyricist Bernie Taupin, Sir Elton has achieved 35 gold and 25 platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits and has sold an amazing 250-million records worldwide. One of his most famous tracks, ‘Candle in the Wind’, which marked the untimely death of Princess Diana, has sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling single in Billboard history. On 7 June, the band will be playing to crowds at the NIA with Four Year Strong. Then, on 16 June Blink 182 will be supported by Twin Atlantic at the LG Arena. Both dates will see All American Rejects as the main support act.</p> <p>Blink 182’s breakthrough album, Enema Of The State, was released in 1999 and went on to sell in excess of 15 million copies worldwide. Their next two albums, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket (2001) and blink 182 (2003) cemented their position as a pop punk supergroup. Additionally the band have won a number of MTV Awards throughout their career.
